The Curious Bear Partners with Mary Bridge Children's

We recently worked with Mary Bridge Children’s Child Life Department in Tacoma, Washington to help them purchase more than 500 books for infants, children and young adults. With their new program "Mary Bridge Children’s Loves to Read", every patient admitted to the hospital can pick out a book free of charge to enjoy during their stay and then take home when discharged. 

Mary Bridge Child Life Specialist Kristen Bishop says, “I love the idea that books are mirrors and windows into other people’s lives. We definitely hope to share that idea and concept with our patients and families.”

Ms. Bishop is a long-time friend and customer of The Curious Bear and we were thrilled and honored to work with her to pick out and source age and theme appropriate books for her program.
