Brands We Love: Great Pretenders

If you have ever come into the store looking for dress-up, you have likely been shown items from Great Pretenders! They carry some of the most joyful, beautifully made and COLORFUL pretend play items. From capes, to dresses, to superheroes to accessories - they help us make all your children's wildest dreams come true!

This Canadian company was started over 30 years ago by mom, Joyce Keelan, who wanted more fun and imaginative toys for her children. She and her team of designers have created toys, jewelry, dress-up and more that light up children's eyes and imaginations.

Although costumes and dress-up items are just a part of pretend play, it feels good knowing that Great Pretenders focuses on quality, safety and makes most of their items to be machine washable! Pretend play lets children use their imaginations, develop creative thinking skills and learn how to communicate with others.
